HBI and Facilities Maintenance is proud to announce our exciting newest community project with our trainees participating in building a treehouse at the Desert Museum!! This project is under the direction of Forever Young Treehouses Inc. home based in Burlington Vermont, which we were awaiting final approval since January 11, 2008.
Representatives from Forever Young, Ellen Miley and Ben Cheney were on center this week to interview and select FM candidates for the project. It will begin on April 28 through June 20th from 8-3 pm, Mon-Fri.
This is an excellent opportunity for Work Based Learning and the construction education, allowing our trainees the opportunity to develop skills in their vocation and make them more productive and resourceful in our community. Google Forever Young Treehouses Inc. to see treehouse projects and projects under way with Desert Museum and Fred G. Acosta Job Corps Center.

In your leisure, please stop by and see the work of our trainees in progress at the AZ- Sonoran Desert Museum located at 2021 N. Kinney Rd. …Take I-10 W to I-19 S. via exit 260 toward Nogales, then take Ajo Way exit 99, turn Right onto W Ajo Way AZ 86 W right past Old Tucson Studios.
The museum is open every day from 7:30 am to 5pm.
